CAMBRIDGE ORIGINS

A clinical challenge.
An interdisciplinary response.

ArtioSense emerged from research at the University of Cambridge, bringing materials science, biophysics and surgical practice together around the challenge of measuring joint forces.

The venture was inspired by the complexity of force balancing during joint replacement. Its research-led approach seeks to develop thin, conformable sensing technology for quantitative surgical assessment.

ArtioSense Limited was incorporated in England and Wales in March 2021, company number 13277407.
